You’ll receive update notifications directly in the iGarden Robotics App.
To check your current version: Go to Connected Device> Settings > Device Update.
Updates are automatically pushed to all compatible devices when available. If you aren’t seeing update prompts, your software is likely already up to date.
How to do OTA firmware upgrade (see video):
Before You Start
Keep the robot on land (do NOT place it underwater).
Ensure the robot is within range of a strong and stable Wi-Fi connection.
Keep your phone within 3 ft (1m) of the robot while upgrading.
During the Upgrade

The full OTA process takes about 10 minutes.
The robot will automatically shut down and restart twice.
Do not operate or move the robot during this time.

For the very first upgrade, if the app shows a failure and the robot’s screen goes black, the upgrade is likely still running in the background.
Simply wait 10 minutes.
The robot will restart automatically once the upgrade completes.
After the Upgrade
You may need to pair the robot with App again if device is not shown in connected device page.
If the robot restarts to a black screen and cannot reboot:
Provide iGarden Customer Support with your device’s Virtual ID.
We will remotely resend the upgrade command to your device.
Once you receive the new upgrade prompt in the app, follow the instructions to complete the OTA update.
After restarting, your robot will be ready to use.
