1. Cleaning Mode: Using Turbo, Full coverage modes consumes more power.
2. AI Timer mode: The battery life will be reduced because the robot continues to consume battery power in Sleep mode.
3. Filter Maintenance: A clogged filter makes the robot work harder. Clean it regularly.
4. Large pools or pools with complex layouts, slopes, ledges, stairs, or obstacles may require longer cleaning paths and additional maneuvering, which can increase battery consumption.
5. Water Temperature: Cold water (<59°F / 15°C) can reduce battery performance.
6. Battery Aging: Over time, batteries gradually lose capacity.
How to Test the Actual Battery Runtime
1. Thoroughly clean the filter.
2. Fully charge the Pool Cleaner.
3. If the pool contains heavy debris, run several cleaning cycles first to remove most of the debris. Then test the Pool Cleaner using Floor Only Mode and record the actual runtime.
4. Compare the result with the expected runtime for your model in Floor Only Mode.
