Troubleshooting Tips:
1. Heavy debris remains
a. The Pool Cleaner is primarily designed for daily maintenance cleaning rather than removing extremely heavy debris in a single cycle.
b. Run the pool pump and filtration system for several hours first to remove a large amount of debris and improve water conditions.
c. Use Floor Only mode and extend the cleaning time for better bottom coverage.
2. Fine sand, algae, or ultra-fine debris remains
a. A small amount of remaining ultra-fine debris may be normal. Increasing cleaning frequency is recommended for better long-term maintenance results.
b. Make sure the filter basket is not clogged that may restrict water flow and reduce suction performance.
3. Large debris remains
a. If the debris is larger than the cleaner’s water inlet size, it cannot be collected and will require manual removal.
b. Make sure the filter basket is not clogged that may restrict water flow and reduce suction performance.
c. Lightweight debris such as leaves may be pushed away by water movement while the robot is operating. Extending the cleaning time can help improve cleaning coverage and debris pickup.
4. Stubborn attached stains
a. If the stains remain attached to the pool surface, manual brushing or cleaning may still be required.
5. Certain areas are not cleaned
a. Stairs:
Narrow steps, curved stairs, or large height transitions may prevent the robot from climbing or staying stable on the stairs. This is normal behavior, and manual cleaning may be required.
b. Corners, seams, and tight edges:
Certain wall seams, corners, and tight transition areas may not be fully reachable by the robot. Manual cleaning is recommended for these areas.
6. Some areas are missed
Complex pool layouts may cause the robot to repeatedly clean certain areas while missing others.
Please check for available OTA firmware updates in the app, as software optimization may improve navigation and pool coverage performance.
If the issue continues, please provide:
1. A short video showing the robot’s behavior while cleaning the debris
2. A clear photo of your pool layout
3. A clear photo showing the remaining debris in the pool
