This is more likely to happen in pools with narrow stairs, curved steps, bench or ledge designs. Pool stairs and irregular transitions may sometimes interfere with the robot’s navigation and cause it to become stuck temporarily. In most cases, the robot will automatically reverse and move away after a few minutes.
To reduce the chance of getting stuck, we recommend using Floor Only mode first in pools with complex step areas, and ensuring the water depth around the stairs is at least 40 cm (1.3 ft) for proper movement and self-righting performance.
You can also check for OTA updates in the app, as software improvements may enhance compatibility with different pool layouts and stair designs.
If the issue continues, please provide:
1. A photo or short video showing the robot’s behavior
2. A clear image of your pool layout and stairs area
3. Please confirm if the problem happens in every cleaning cycle
