Step by Step Guide
① Download and register in the correct app
Search for [iGarden App], download, register an account, and log in.
(Note: The pool cleaner M1-AI is compatible with iGarden App. Some customers mistakenly download “iGarden Robotics App” from the App Store, which won’t pair.)
② Enable Bluetooth & Location Services
Turn on Bluetooth and location services via your phone's control center or system settings.
③ Ensure you're connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi network in a strong-signal area.
During pairing, both your phone and the robot must be on the same 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi network.
After pairing, you may switch your phone to another Wi‑Fi or mobile network.
a. How to check if your phone is on 2.4 GHz:
--5 GHz networks often include "5G" in their name.
If both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz share the same name, you'll need to check frequency settings:
--On Android: Settings → Wi‑Fi → select your connected network and view frequency.
--On iPhone: Log into your router’s admin page and check from there.
b. If you can't connect your phone to 2.4 GHz: Use another phone to create a 2.4 GHz hotspot.
--On Android: In hotspot settings, set the frequency band to 2.4 GHz (setting steps vary by brands).
--On iPhone 12 or later: Settings → Personal Hotspot → enable "Maximize Compatibility" to enable 2.4 GHz. iPhone 11 and earlier use 2.4 GHz by default.
④ Power On the Robot
Slides the Power Switch to “ON”. (If it goes off after inactivity, hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds until the LED starts blinking again.)
⑤ Enter pairing mode on the robot
While the ON/OFF button is blinking, hold the “Cleaning Mode” button for 3 seconds. After a beep, the robot enters app pairing mode.
⑥ Pair through the iGarden app
Open the app → tap “Add devie or +” → wait for the robot to appear in nearby devices.
⑦ Connect robot to Wi‑Fi
Enter Wi‑Fi name and password. Ensure this matches the phone's Wi-Fi network.
