② Enable Bluetooth & Location Services
Turn on Bluetooth and location services via your phone's control center or system settings.
③ Ensure you're connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi network in a strong-signal area.
During pairing, both your phone and the robot must be on the same 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi network.
After pairing, you may switch your phone to another Wi‑Fi or mobile network.
a. How to check if your phone is on 2.4 GHz:
--5 GHz networks often include "5G" in their name.
If both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz share the same name, you'll need to check frequency settings:
--On Android: Settings → Wi‑Fi → select your connected network and view frequency.
--On iPhone: Log into your router’s admin page and check from there.
b. If you can't connect your phone to 2.4 GHz: Use another phone to create a 2.4 GHz hotspot.
--On Android: In hotspot settings, set the frequency band to 2.4 GHz (setting steps vary by brands).
--On iPhone 12 or later: Settings → Personal Hotspot → enable "Maximize Compatibility" to enable 2.4 GHz. iPhone 11 and earlier use 2.4 GHz by default.
④ Remove the filter box from the robot. Power cycle the unit by turning on the power switch, located at the front inside the robot, OFF and then ON.
⑤ Enter pairing mode on the robot
Check the indicator light on the switch: when it starts flashing, the robot is in pairing mode.
⑥ Pair through the iGarden Robotics app
Open the app → tap “Add Device” → wait for the robot to appear in nearby devices.
⑦ Connect robot to Wi‑Fi
Tap “Add” on the device → enter Wi‑Fi name and password. Ensure this matches the phone's Wi-Fi network.
⑧ Pairing in progress
A blue progress circle will appear. Once pairing is complete, the app returns to the main screen and shows the robot as “Connected.”
If pairing fails after the circle completes, or it stalls for over 2 minutes: Restart the robot by turning the bottom switch, and try pairing again.
